Get Cinco Privacy Policy

  Effective starting September 16, 2025.

This Privacy Policy explains how Get Cinco, LLC (“Get Cinco,” “we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, shares, and safeguards information when you visit our websites, use our platform and mobile apps, or interact with any services we provide (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.

If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to do so and that your organization accepts this Policy.

1) Information We Collect

We collect information in three primary ways: (a) you provide it, (b) it’s collected automatically through your use of the Services, and (c) we obtain it from third-party sources you connect.

1.1 Information you provide

  • Account & Contact: name, business name, role, email, phone, address.

  • Billing: billing name, address, tax IDs, and limited payment details processed by our payment provider (we don’t store full card numbers).

  • Customer Content: text, ratings, photos, messages, survey responses, and any other data you upload or collect through the Services.

  • Support & Sales: messages, call notes, recordings (where permitted), and preferences.

1.2 Information collected automatically

  • Usage & Device: IP address, device IDs, browser type, operating system, language, referring/exit pages, timestamps, feature usage, and error logs.

  • Cookies & Similar Tech: pixels, SDKs, and tags to remember settings, measure performance, and improve features (see “Cookies” below).

1.3 Information from third-party sources (you connect)

  • Listings & Social: data from accounts you connect (e.g., business listings, public profiles, reviews, messages, posts).

  • Integrations: CRM/PM/e-commerce tools and communication providers you choose to link; data flows according to your configuration.

You control which sources you connect and may disconnect them at any time from within the product.

2) How We Use Information

We use information to:

  1. Provide, secure, and maintain the Services.

  2. Automate review requests, responses, monitoring, listing sync, social posting, messaging, surveys/insights, reporting, and related workflows you enable.

  3. Communicate with you about feature updates, security alerts, and support.

  4. Personalize and improve the product experience, including analytics and A/B testing.

  5. Comply with law, enforce our Terms, and protect the integrity of the Services.

Some features include AI assistance (e.g., suggested replies, summaries, sentiment). You review and approve outputs before publishing. We do not use your Customer Content to train third-party AI models. (For clarity on common industry practices, see analogous public AI policy examples in the market.)

3) Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK only)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, our lawful bases include: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (product improvement, security, fraud prevention), consent (where required, e.g., certain marketing), and legal obligation.

4) How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only with:

  • Service Providers under contract (cloud hosting, analytics, communications, payment processing, customer support). They may access information only to perform services for us and must protect it.

  • Your Connected Platforms per your configuration (e.g., listings, social networks, messaging carriers).

  • Professional Advisors (legal, accounting, auditors), bound by confidentiality.

  • Corporate Transactions (merger, acquisition, asset sale); successor entity will honor this Policy or notify you of changes.

  • Legal/Compliance: to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights/safety.

We also publish aggregated or de-identified insights (never identifying you or your customers).

5) Messaging, Reviews & Compliance Responsibilities

Many customers use Get Cinco to request reviews, send surveys, and message their customers. You are responsible for obtaining and honoring all required consents under laws and policies that apply to your business (e.g., TCPA, A2P 10DLC carrier rules, CAN-SPAM, CASL), as well as each review site’s guidelines (e.g., prohibitions on fake reviews or “review gating”). We provide tools; you determine when and how you use them. (Comparable public guidance: CCPA/TCPA consent frameworks and review-site standards.)

6) Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and SDKs to:

  • keep you signed in;

  • remember preferences;

  • measure performance and diagnose issues;

  • understand feature usage to improve the product.

You can control cookies via browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit functionality.

7) Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to deliver the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion as described below.

8) Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data, including encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege practices, logging, and staff training. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect the data entrusted to us. (Industry examples emphasize layered controls and ongoing compliance practices.)

9) Your Privacy Rights

Your rights depend on your location and local law.

  • United States (incl. CA/VA/CO/CT/UT, etc.): You may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, opt out of certain sharing/targeted advertising, and limit use of sensitive data. We will verify requests and respond within required timeframes. (See example public CCPA pages for request mechanics.)

  • EEA/UK: You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict/oppose processing, and data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

  • Australia & other regions: We honor applicable local privacy rights.

Exercising rights: Email info@getcinco.com or use in-product controls where available. For security, we verify your identity before fulfilling requests.

10) Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

11) International Data Transfers

We are a U.S. company. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries that may have different data-protection laws than your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

12) Data Controller/Processor Roles

  • When we host and process Customer Content for your business (e.g., reviews, messages, surveys), you are typically the data controller, and we act as your processor/service provider under applicable law.

  • For our own website analytics, account management, billing, and product improvement, Get Cinco is a controller.

A Data Processing Addendum (DPA) is available upon request for customers subject to GDPR/UK GDPR/CCPA.

13) Third-Party Links & Integrations

The Services may link to third-party sites or allow connections to third-party platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices. (See publicly available notices from those platforms.)

14) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we’ll notify you (for example, by email or in-app notice). The “Last Updated” date will reflect the effective date. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
